jason is getting over a cold. i have been running the humidifier at night when he sleeps but, when i go to change the water and flip the filter its soaked. i have a few questions:
1- should i let it air dry or replace it?
2- how often do you change yours?
3- is the water supposed to leak onto the vent and tray area?
(its the american red cross brand, if that hepls)If the filter on my humidifier gets wet do i need to change it?REPLACE IT!
Change it maybe once a week, but since hes a baby, maybe more often.

3 - noIf the filter on my humidifier gets wet do i need to change it?You should replace it, it can get moldy. I don't have one but my doc said that a lot of times people don't clean them as they should and they are putting mold into the air. You should bleach it once a month atleast.
