How do I change my well water filter?

It rained for 3 days straight, my water got a little tingy looking, I thought it was due to the extensive amount of rain we got recently, but its been 2 days now, could it still be the run off, or should I change my filter? How do I change my well water filter?Nobody knows what kind of filter you have, but I'm going to guess it's a sediment filter, probably with a paper element. They come in different %26quot;micron%26quot; sizes of filtration. Yes, if you're not happy with the color of your water, and you have a sediment filter, it's time to change it. If you're still not happy, go to a finer micron version. Those ones plug up faster, though. I use two filters - a prefilter, then a finer one. That makes the fine ones last a lot longer. How do I change my well water filter?leave it another week while the weather is cold any sediment will take longer to settle as the cold water holds more oxygen , espescialy if you have had a high volume of water in a short period
