ith filter and heater, how much and how often do i need to do water change? If a betta is the only fish in the tank, then you can get by with a 10% water change each week or a 25% water change twice each month. If you do decide to get ADFs, be very careful that you do not get the clawed variety as they will make minced meat of your bettas. You could also keep 8-10 neons and 3-5 corydoras with bettas. I prefer the fish to the frogs as ADFs can be a bit finicky and difficult to keep. If you add the frog, stick with an absolute maximum of 2 and ensure they are the dwarfs. Also, do some extensive research on these creatures. If you do stock the frogs or the fish, you will need to do a 20% partial water change each week.I have a betta in a ten gallon with filter and heater, how much and how often do i need to do water change?Just change part of the water each week. With that size tank and only a betta, you probably only need to change 10-20% (one or 2 gallons) each week.
I dont know much about the frogs, but you will have room for a couple more fish (or frogs) in that size tank. Just make sure they are compatible with the betta.
