How long does it take for chlorine/ammonia/flouride to evaporate from tap water?

I have a salt water fishtank that I need to do a water change on. Normally I would have gone out and bought filtered water, but I decided to use tap water this time (save me the lectures, I'm lazy). I have about two gallons sitting in a five gallon bucket. How long before I can safely use this in my tank? How long does it take for chlorine/ammonia/flouride to evaporate from tap water?Chlorine, about 5 mins, Chloramine - should break down in a few weeks, Flouride will be left in the bottom of the bucket after the water evaporates!!!

Depending on whats in your water it may or may not be safe to use.

IanHow long does it take for chlorine/ammonia/flouride to evaporate from tap water?I've always pretty much just let it sit overnight.

I completely understand being lazy about it...been there.

But, I honestly would be really concerned about using tap water in a tank where you've not used it before. There is a tremendous amount of crap in tap water other than just those 3 chemicals. You could end up with pH problems and god knows what else.
