I have a salt water fishtank that I need to do a water change on. Normally I would have gone out and bought filtered water, but I decided to use tap water this time (save me the lectures, I'm lazy). I have about two gallons sitting in a five gallon bucket. Depending on whats in your water it may or may not be safe to use.

I completely understand being lazy about it...been there.
But, I honestly would be really concerned about using tap water in a tank where you've not used it before. There is a tremendous amount of crap in tap water other than just those 3 chemicals. You could end up with pH problems and god knows what else.
