I have fresh water aquarium how can i change to salt water?

Hello to everyone i have 120gallons(filter: eheim 2217) aquarium with cichlids, i would like to change it to salt water, what do i need?Also i have special sand for cichlids can i use it in salt water aquarium? thank youI have fresh water aquarium how can i change to salt water?well get rid of the fish and when you have the tank turn of ever thing out in the amount of salt you need and stir it around to dissolve it i guessI have fresh water aquarium how can i change to salt water?well, chiclids are freshwater fish so you would have to relocate those. depending on the specie of your fish, it needs to be kept at a certain salinity which can be tested with a refractometer. for ex, i have seahorses which need to be kept at about 30 ppt, you figure out the volume in liters of your tank and the salinity you need to raise it to and measure out the amount of salt in grams. its hard work to maintain but its a lot of fun having salt water fish, you can do a lot with them.
